Columbus Personal Bankruptcy Attorney
If your debt has become unmanageable, whether through unexpected medical bills, the loss of a job, or divorce, you have options under the federal bankruptcy laws that can ease your financial burden.
At the law office of Ruth Ann Hohl, in Columbus, I have 20 years of experience representing individuals in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy matters. My goal is to provide each client with quality legal services in a personal manner and I work with each client to develop the best possible resolution for their individual needs. Contact my office for a confidential consultation.
To help me expedite your bankruptcy filing, please bring the following items to your first consultation:
- List of all creditors, including name, address, account number, balance due. (Do not use bills themselves as substitute for list, but bring bills to verify information). Use the correspondence address for credit card bills, not the billing address. The correspondence is usually provided on the back of the bill. Include all debts owed to family, friends, employers, taxing authorities, utilities, mortgage lenders, automobile loans and leases.
- List of all co-signers, including name, address and copy of the underlying loan document.
- Six months of your most recent paycheck stubs and evidence of any other income you have received over the past twelve months.
- Certificates of title to all titled assets, including but not limited to vehicles, motors, mobile homes, trailers, motorcycles.
- Copies of your federal tax return for 2006 and 2007 with W-2s.
- Prior addresses over last three years and the dates you resided at each.
For Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 legal representation, please contact me to arrange a confidential consultation. I offer flexible hours and my office is conveniently located at Cassady and the I-670 exit.
